If you bring a car to Ithaca with you, it is necessary to get a parking pass. The good news is that it is a simple process, and they are free for graduate students!
Steps to getting your parking pass:
1. Bring your ID card to the Office of Public Safety
2. Fill out vehicle registration forms
3. Pick up parking pass.
Note: If you have an assistantship, you might be eligible for a blue parking pass. This will allow you to park in blue parking lots which is nice because they tend to be closer to the buildings on campus. However, if you do receive a blue parking pass, you cannot park in the red lots. Be sure to check with your assistantship supervisor before seeing the Office of Public Safety.
