Physical Therapy students shine at Business Plan Competition

Ithaca College students had 10 minutes to make their case for up to $20,000 of funding this week at the Business Plan Competition and two of the big winners came from the Department of Physical Therapy.

Tim Reynolds ’14, a physical therapy doctoral student, took home $20,000 and first place with his invention, the KettleShell, an adapter which allows users to transform a dumbbell into a kettlebell. The idea for the KettleShell was developed in the fall of 2012, and over the last year and a half, has been developed into a market-ready product.

SNOBALL, a team consisting of physical therapy students
Antoine Connors, James Newton, and Bryan Blanchette, took a third place prize of $5,000.

See the Business Plan Competition site for full list of awards and business plan descriptions.
