Thesis Advisement Dr. Cathe Gordon came to Ithaca College in 1994 to develop and open the new Occupational Therapy Program. Since that time she has served as Department chair and Program Director. She also teaches at both the graduate and undergarduate levels and does thesis advisement. Dr.Gordon came to Ithaca with experience as an educator and administrator, and clinical practitioner in pediatrics, physical and developmental disabilities, and orthotics. She has done consultation in management, curriculum development and clinical occupational therapy and has served on several community advisory boards. Research: human development and developmental disabilities, vocational and school-based programming, curriculum design and evaluation, sensory integration, play and leisure, splinting and adapted equipment

AJOT Interests: Dr.Gordon holds degrees in occupational therapy and health, and is certified in several assessment systems. She has been a generalist in both her teaching and clinical practice. Her research interests also varied. She is active in both the New York State Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. She has held offices, and has presented on a wide range of topics at the local, state, and national levels. When she is not working she likes to travel, read, eat out, attend theater and sporting events, and is a skilled and avid needleworker. She's also a good aunt.
