Diane Long
I began teaching at Ithaca College in January, 1998. Prior to joining IC, I taught in the Occupational Therapy Program at Maria Regina College and then at Keuka College. When I am not on campus I practice school-based OT and serves as a managerial consultant at New Directions Therapeutics, Inc. in Auburn, New York. This is a private, school-based practice that I started back in 1983 when I was teaching part-time.
Current Research: I am interested in all aspects of pediatric occupational therapy and have several research interests in this area. I am very interested in the efficacy of service delivery for children in school and my research efforts revolve around alternative ways to provide OT services. Interests:
My personal interests include family life with my husband and four children,
old house restoration, singing, amateur theater, reading good novels
and needlework. |
