The
Plus One Scholarship is sponsored by Plus One
Holdings, Inc. and offered to a junior or senior
majoring in the exercise sciences (Athletic Training,
Exercise Science or Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation)
or in a degree program in the Department of Health
Promotion and Physical Education. Eligible students
must have full-time status, demonstrate financial
need, be in good academic standing, have upper
class status, have a cumulative grade point average
of at least 2.80, and be recommended to the Dean
by their department chair. Students recommended
for the Plus One Scholarship will be required
to complete a resume and submit a letter describing
their career goals and commitment to the health
and well-being of others. The Plus One Scholarship
will be offered on a one-year basis to the selected
recipient.
