Washington DC Scholarship
for Summer Internships

If you know students who are planning on doing an unpaid internship in Washington DC this summer, please encourage them to apply for this scholarship to help support their experience.

Students considering an internship in Washington, D.C. for their summer break plans are invited to apply for this scholarship.

Applications are available in the Career Services Office (1101 Gannett Center). The scholarship is intended to defray the cost of living expenses for a student who has a paid or unpaid, credit or non-credit bearing internship for the duration of the summer break. Students also must be enrolled for the 2010-2011 academic year and with a current status as a first-year, sophomore or junior student at Ithaca College.

 

The scholarship monies, donated by alumni residing in the Metro D.C. area, will total between $1,500 and $2,000. Completed applications are must be submitted to the Career Services Office and are due by 5:00pm on Friday, February 26, 2010 (candidates are encouraged to begin compiling their comprehensive application materials soon). The scholarship recipient will be announced in late March.
