Healthcare and Culture: An International
Field Experience
This summer course gives students the opportunity to
investigate the socio-cultural context in the delivery of healthcare
and rehabilitation services in an international context. The program
will focus on the examination of the role of ethnicity, race, religion,
and socio-economic status in shaping the health-related beliefs and behaviors
of individuals through experiential learning, discussion, and lectures.
