He is a professor of cellular and structural biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center and a member of the faculty of the Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies. On Thursday, March 20, Austad will present a lecture titled "The 150-Year-Old Human: How Soon? How Desirable?" at 7:00 p.m. in the Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall.
