Aging Studies Minor
What is a Minor in Aging Studies?
The minor in aging studies at Ithaca College is for students considering careers in the field of aging, those whose future careers may include some contact with older adults, and for students who simply have an interest in learning more about the fastest growing component of our population. The minor is interdisciplinary in nature and is administered by the Gerontology Institute. Students are exposed to a variety of disciplines and perspectives related to the study of aging.
The aging studies minor may be paired with any major at Ithaca College. Knowledge about aging, older adults, and our rapidly aging society is relevant to almost every area of study from accounting to zoology!
