Judge Battle Is Visiting Multicultural Fellow

Judge Michael A. Battle '77 will give a talk on Thursday, April 10, as Ithaca College's sixth visiting multicultural fellow. Battle's talk, "Our Changing Society: A View from the Bench," will be presented at 7:00 p.m. in Park Hall Auditorium. The talk is free and open to the public, and a reception will follow.

Battle is a family court judge with the Family Court of the State of New York, Erie County. An Educational Opportunity Program student and football player while at Ithaca, Battle graduated with honors. The recipient of many awards for contributions to his community, Battle currently serves on the United States District Court Task Force on Gender, Racial and Ethnic Fairness in Courts, and on the boards of a number of civic and community organizations.
