Colonel Arnald Gabriel: A Lifetime of Achievement Col. Arnald D. Gabriel '50, this year's recipient of the Ithaca College Alumni Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, was presented with the honor during a May 31 performance by the McLean Orchestra in Virginia. Gabriel was one of four men cited reunion weekend for contributions to the College. He was unable to attend festivities in Ithaca because of a scheduling conflict with the orchestra, of which he is music director. Gabriel was presented with his award by College trustee Robert E. Brown and Underwood-who also studied at Ithaca College-were guest artists along with Doc Severinsen during the orchestra's performance at the George Mason University Center for the Arts.
