Ithaca College Unity Relays Faculty, staff, and students gathered at Jim Butterfield Stadium on Saturday, September 20, to participate in the College's first Unity Relays and Ice Cream Social. The event, sponsored by the Office of Minority Affairs, promoted and encouraged solidarity on campus. "Ithaca College is a rich academic, cultural, and social community offering its students, faculty, and staff an immense amount of opportunities. However, in today's perilous times we must be proactive to deal with the various 'isms'," said minority affairs director Keeon Gregory. "Our office encouraged the community to take a proactive stance by participating in the relays, because together, we can make a difference."
