Cloning Series Will Continue with October 30 Talk

A year-long Ithaca College series looking at cloning and its ethical implications continues on Thursday, October 30, with a talk by Larry Palmer, professor of law at Cornell University. Scheduled for 12:15 p.m. in room 102, Textor Hall, Palmer's talk, "A Legal Perspective," is free and open to the public.

Sponsored by the Ithaca Opportunity Program/Higher Education Opportunity Program, the lecture is the second in a series entitled "Cloning: Technological Marvel-Ethical Quandry." Multidisciplinary in its approach, the series began in June with a talk by Henrietta Hyatt-Knorr, acting deputy executive director of the National Bioethics Advisory Commission. Other talks are slated for later in the year. For more information contact the IOP office at 274-3381.
