Home is Where the Art Is

Ithaca College turned to its students this year in search of a design for its holiday cards. The scene above, by television-radio major Loren Grosso '00, won the West Hartford, Connecticut, resident a $250 gift certificate to the Bookstore. The image will adorn cards sent out by President Peggy R. Williams.

A $250 gift certificate was also awarded to Jamie Hulton-Baker '99, an art major from Nova Scotia, Canada, whose design above will be used on invitations to holiday receptions at the president's Fountain Place residence. The winners were selected by Williams, who initiated the project. The contest was carried out with the assistance of Mark Naparstek '99, president of the art club, and art department faculty member Harry McCue.
