jessica Care moore Black History Month Continues
	The Black History Month celebration at Ithaca College continues on Saturday, February 7, with an appearance by poet, publisher, and playwright jessica Care moore. Her 8:00 p.m. performance in Roy H. Park Hall Auditorium will feature drummer Stix Bones, the Amani Gospel Singers, and other opening acts. A performer whose work has appeared in collected works and in the New York Times, African Voices, Stress, Seeds, Bomb, and the Metro Times, moore was the winner of Harlem’s famous Apollo Theater Amateur Night competition for a record five consecutive weeks. She has performed with KRS l, Gil-Scott Heron, the Last Poets, and others. Food and a reception will follow the event in the Park Hall lobby.
