Three people were elected to three-year terms on the Ithaca
College Alumni Association Board of Directors in February. Here
is a look at each:
Stephanie
Viscelli '89 is an attorney with Michaels, Bell, & Smolak
P.C. in Auburn, New York. She has worked as an alumni representative
for the College, and says it gave her great satisfaction to be
able to promote the school. "I was amazed at how easy it
was to act in that capacity because there were so many positive
things to tell prospective students," she says. Viscelli
currently sits on the board of directors for the alumni association
of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College.
Courtney Walsh '87 is director
of the executive MBA program at the University of Buffalo. She
is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and administration
of that program for top-level executives seeking their MBA degrees.
A member of the Buffalo Alumni Club, Walsh was a peer career
counselor in the School of Business during her College days.
She was selected as a student justice and was active on the President's
Host Committee, as well. Walsh says she'll be happy to use her
marketing and planning skills as a member of the alumni board.
Julie E. Wagner '95 is a systems
consultant/analyst for American Management Systems in Fairfax,
Virginia. Wagner, who served as president of the senior class
while at Ithaca, played a key role in the senior class gift of
more than $20,000 to the College's library. "That gift showed
the commitment our class had to the College community,"
she says. "I don't think that commitment has ended and I
would like to help ensure that it does not end in the future."
Wagner is a member of the National Capital Area Alumni Club.
