Mayrock Lecture Series Continues on April 21

The Marjory Mayrock Lecture Series in History continues on Tuesday, April 21, with a talk by noted author and historian Walter LaFeber, professor of American history at Cornell University. The talk, "Theodore Roosevelt's Ghost and America in the 1990s," is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in room 112, New Science Building. It is free and open to the public.

LaFeber has written more than 15 books on United States foreign policy, including The New Empire, which was awarded the American Historical Association's Beveridge Prize.

The lecture series began in 1979 thanks to businessman Eliot Mayrock '73. The series was named in memory of his mother, Marjorie, in 1984.
