Eleven members of the staff and faculty at
Ithaca College have been recognized for their job performance
and for their contributions to the campus and local community.
Six people received the Employee Recognition Award and five others
were named recipients of the Faculty Opportunity Award. Each
winner received a certificate and a stipend, made possible through
the generosity of anonymous donors.
Employee Recognition Awards are presented
to outstanding members of the Ithaca College community. This
years winners are John Bradac, director of career planning
and placement; David Dresser, associate dean, School of Health
Sciences and Human Performance; Susan Mayer, accounts payable/travel
services coordinator; Pete Moore, director of sports information
and athletic communication; Jane Vogel, professor of English;
and Mark Warfle, supervisor of auxiliary services.
Faculty
Opportunity Awards are presented to faculty members who have
an especially strong record of accomplishment and who display
a pattern of conscientious service to the College. This years
winners are Mark Fonder, associate professor and chair, School
of Music; Christine Cecconi, clinical assistant professor, School
of Health Sciences and Human Performance; Pat Tempesta, assistant
professor, School of Humanities and Sciences; Eileen Kelly, associate
professor, School of Business; and Wenmouth Williams, professor,
Roy H. Park School of Communications.
