Adam Forbes, assistant director/recruiting coordinator with
the Office of Career Planning and Placement, recently copresented
a session at the National Association of Colleges and Employers
(NACE) in Dallas, Texas. Entitled "Ethical Pressures in
a Hot Job Market: Dealing with Tough Choices," the workshop
featured a number of corporate and college representatives discussing
today's job market and hiring practices.
Heinz Koch, chemistry, travelled to Italy and Germany
May 28–June 3 to present research talks at departments
of chemistry at the University of Rome, Friedrich Schiller University
in Jena, and the University of Ulm. On June 29 Koch presented
a poster at the 39th Reaction Mechanisms Conference in Alsilomar,
California. |
