The Grand Old Game . . .
	Baseball is back, as they say, and nowhere was that more evident this summer than at Ithaca College, where camps were held for those with varying levels of ability. At left, head coach George Valesente explains the nuances of the game to a participant in the Elite Baseball Showcase, a three-day session in June for highly recommended high school baseball players.
	At right, three youngsters take a break during the Fundamentals Camp for boys and girls, a half-day camp held in July for players wanting to learn more about the game. The baseball sessions were just two of those offered in a comprehensive summer program that included sports camps in basketball, crew, dance, football, gymnastics, swimming, and tennis.
