Take a Longview Tour

As moving-in day approaches for Ithacare's new Longview life-care community, members of the Ithaca College community will have an opportunity to get a sneak preview of the facility. A tour of Longview, which is in its final stages of completion across route 96B from the College, will be given on Wednesday, September 16. Those interested in taking the tour should meet in the parking lot at the Longview main entrance at 3:00 p.m.

Ithaca College donated the land for the new facility, and the Gerontology Institute --- a crucial research, outreach, and administrative element in the College's affiliation with Longview --- contributed to the plans. Ithaca students and faculty will use an area of dedicated space for evaluation, activities, and administrative work at Longview, while residents will have numerous opportunities to take part in Ithaca College programs and activities.
