Shulmans are Parents Fund Chairs

The 1998–99 Ithaca College Parents Fund will be lead by chairpersons Stephen and Sherry Shulman of Elmira, New York. The Shulman family has been associated with Ithaca since the 1930s, when Sherry’s father, Albert Kaufman, was a physical education student. He graduated in 1937, and Sherry followed him, graduating in 1972. Now the Shulmans’ children, Zachary ’99 and Riki ’02, continue the tradition.

Their longtime connection with the College makes the Shulmans uniquely qualified to serve as the Parents Fund chairs. "We have seen how the College has flourished and grown over the decades," Sherry says, "and we are so pleased that our children chose to attend Ithaca College. We know from long experience what a great school it is."
