Author Kellner-Rogers Will Offer Lecture Here
Ithaca-based author Myron Kellner-Rogers will
visit South Hill on Thursday, October 29, for a guest lecture.
Kellner-Rogerss talk, "Changing the Way We Change:
Lessons from Complexity Theory," is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
in Park Hall Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the
public, and a reception will follow in Park 220.
An international
consultant on theory and practice of organizational change, Kellner-Rogers
and Berkana Institute colleague Margaret Wheatley are co-authors
of the book, A Simpler Way. Together, these two researchers
have been exploring and applying the discoveries of chaos and
complexity science to organizations for several years. Making
use of years of consulting and academic research, their goal
is to help organizations become capable of continuous change.
In addition to his work at Berkana, a not-for-profit
foundation devoted to researching new organizational forms, Kellner-Rogers
is also a principal at Kellner-Rogers & Wheatley Inc.
The Ithaca College lecture is sponsored by
the Roy H. Park School of Communications, the graduate program
in communications, and the Department of Organizational Communication,
Learning, and Design. |
