Days of the Roundtable
Nearly 250 faculty, staff, and
students took part in a series of five roundtable discussions
held earlier this month under the sponsorship of the All-College
Priority and Planning Committee. Provost and vice president for
academic affairs Jim Malek (standing), who chairs the committee,
told participants the sessions were designed to facilitate a
dialogue between the committee members and the rest of the campus
community about College priorities. The planning committee will
review the commentary from the roundtable discussions and develop
a final priority list to be shared with the board of trustees
at its meeting this week. Task force groups will then be formed
to work on implementing each of the various priorities. For more
information, visit the committees Web
site.
