An estimated 600 students, faculty,
and staff took part in activities related to the second annual
Day of Service on Friday, March 26. Among the many projects were
a car wash at Longview, trash pickup of the South Hill neighborhood,
50-hour broadcast marathon by 106-VIC radio to benefit the Task
Force for Battered Women, and food collection for the Tompkins
County SPCA. Plans are already being made for next year’s
Day of Service.
