Homecoming Set for October 810
Interested alumni can drop by Roy H. Park Hall for a number of special events, including "TV-R@50: Looking Back at Five Decades," a series of panel discussions structured like a talk show. Excerpts from films and videos produced by TV-R students in each of the past five decades will be screened, setting the scene for comment and audience participation. Alumni who havent been back to the College in some time can see how much the campus has changed by taking one of the tours departing from the Office of Admission at the top of each hour, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:0011:00 a.m. on Saturday. To set the mood for a weekend of athletic activities, the Student Alumni Association and Student Government Association are sponsoring a pep rally at 7:00 p.m. on Friday on the Campus Center quad. The varsity mens and womens soccer, volleyball, and football teams all have home contests on the schedule, while alumni mens lacrosse and wrestling matches are also slated. Nine new members will be inducted into the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame at the annual banquet on Saturday night. The Saturday schedule also features
Homecoming weekend wraps up on Sunday with a concert at 7:30 p.m. in Ben Light Gymnasium, featuring the swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and alternative rockers Blessid Union of Souls. This concert was originally slated for Saturday night but has been changed to Sunday because of a scheduling conflict. For ticket information call the Bureau of Concerts at 274-1621. Tickets are required for the barbecue, football game, and Athletic Hall of Fame banquet.
