Commencement Eve Concert and Fireworks Display

The Commencement Eve Concert will be held on Friday, May 12, at 8:30 p.m. in Ben Light Gymnasium. Titled “On Stage: Music for the Theater,” the program will showcase outstanding student and faculty talent from the School of Music. Directed by music professor and award-winning composer Dana Wilson, the presentation features a unique “kaleidoscope” format that will give listeners nearly an hour of continuous, exciting music. Following the concert, all are invited to close the night with refreshments on the academic quad from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m., highlighted by a fireworks display. Questions about the concert should be directed to the dean’s office, School of Music, (607) 274-3343.
