Student Works on Display This untitled wire sculpture by Devin Mack ’00 will be one of the works shown at this year’s Annual Senior Student Exhibition. Every spring the Handwerker Gallery hosts a showing of the creative achievements of students in the Department of Art and Department of Cinema and Photography. Slated to run through May 13, the exhibition will feature works in a variety of media, including oils, photography, screen prints, ink and charcoal on paper, digital imagery, and video. In conjunction with the exhibit, computer-generated art by students in the Mathematical Art with Computers course will be displayed in Williams Hall. The exhibits are free and open to the public. The Sigma Iota Epsilon national management honor society collected donations for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier as part of its annual induction ceremony on March 31. The food bank’s director, Paul Hesler ’87 (third from right in photo), was the keynote speaker for the event. Also pictured above are the outgoing members of the SIE executive board, all graduating seniors: (left to right) Kristy Hodgin, Elizabeth Frederick, Amy Mirwald, Alison Dworkin, Mark Reeves, and Tim Bocek. Dworkin was presented with the National Distinguished Service Award for "extraordinary leadership" as chapter president, and the chapter itself earned a grant from the national organization for its "team challenge" program held at the Cayuga Nature Center.
