The 3M Foundation
has awarded Ithaca College a three-year, $50,000 Vision grant to
support a new TEAM program to help bridge the gap between basic
and advanced high school math classes for minority students.

Some 1,690 incoming
freshmen will be welcomed to campus on Monday, August 28, with the
annual Convocation ceremony and the IC Community Picnic.

The season kicks
off on September 28 with a comedy proposing a new twist on the traditionally
tragic Shakespeare works Othello and Romeo and Juliet
— Good night Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), by
Canadian playwright Ann-Marie MacDonald.

Ithaca College's
newest graduate program has received a boost from the family of
the late Elmer "Robbie" Robinson, a longtime supporter of the College
and former trustee who died on July 22.
