PRESENTATION

"Health Issues in Native American Communities: Bridging Cultures to Prevent HIV," a presentation by Cissy Elm and Barbara M. Johnson, coordinators with the American Indian Community House HIV/AIDS Project; 6:00 p.m., Klingenstein Lounge, Egbert Hall.

SCREENING

"African American Women, Music, and Activism," a "Cinema on the Edge" and "Reverberations: Music of the African Diaspora" presentation of the films Gotta Make This Journey: Sweet Honey in the Rock and Stormé: The Lady of the Jewel Box, with a panel discussion to follow; 7:00 p.m., Park Hall Auditorium.

Ithaca College Concerts performance by Musicians from Marlboro, the touring extension of the Marlboro Music School and Festival, performing Borodin’s Three Songs, Ravel’s Chansons madécasses, Kirchner’s Trio no. 1 for Piano, Violin, and Cello, and Brahms’s Quartet in A Major; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall (admission charged).

Wednesday, March 21

MUSIC

Faculty recital by Lee Goodhew, bassoon; Paige Morgan, oboe; and Diane Birr, piano; 8:15 p.m., recital hall.

LECTURE

"Environmental Justice for All," a C. P. Snow Lecture Series presentation by Robert Bullard, Ware Professor of Sociology and director of the Environmental Justice Resource Center at Clark Atlanta University; 7:30 p.m., Textor 102.

WORKSHOP

"The Elderly and Safe Driving," a Gerontology Institute workshop by assistant professor of occupational therapy Marilyn Kane; 2:00–5:00 p.m., north meeting room, Egbert Hall. Preregistration required; call 274-3143.

CONTINUING EXHIBIT

A Priori, a show of photographs by seven faculty members; through April 4, Handwerker Gallery. The Handwerker Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (Thursday until 9:00 p.m.); Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 2:00–6:00 p.m.
