Ellen Bonaguro
Penny Chick

Ellen Bonaguro (left), associate dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences, and Penny Chick, director of the Annual Fund, helped lead a brainstorming session at the first meeting of the Leadership Development Advisory Committee, held in Alumni Hall on June 14. Representing all schools and a variety of positions, the 16-member committee is working with consultant Suzanne Forsyth on initiatives that will encourage employees at all levels to develop leadership skills. This effort is being spearheaded by Mary Tomaselli, manager of leadership development in the Office of Human Resources. "Achieving excellence as an institution is dependent on the development of leadership skills in all employees at every level," Tomaselli says. "By helping employees grow to their fullest potential, the College is pursuing its vision as directed by the strategic plan."
