Benefit Performance of ‘Parade’ SlatedA special benefit performance has been added to Ithaca College Theatre’s production of the musical Parade. The additional performance will take place on Sunday, November 11, at 1:00 p.m. in Hoerner Theatre. Tickets for this event will cost $15.00, with all proceeds going to help families affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States. The staging is intended to benefit the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, a national organization created to provide assistance for postsecondary education to financially needy children and spouses of those killed or permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11 attacks. This includes the airplane crews and passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon employees and visitors, and rescue workers, including firefighters and police officers. For more information on the fund, visit www.familiesoffreedom.org. Tickets for the benefit performance can be purchased at the ticket office in Dillingham Center, the Ticket Center at Clinton House, and Cornell University’s Willard Straight Hall. For more information call 274-3224. |
