Kudos

Michael McGreevey, president’s office, and David Prunty, conference and event services, were among 23 local residents who completed Leadership Tompkins, a program designed to prepare future leaders for the complex challenges facing their communities. The program included eight monthly full-day sessions and a commencement ceremony. Prunty and McGreevey took part in a project that established a website for Leadership Tompkins. The organization is affiliated with the Community Leadership Association and sponsored locally by the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Warren Schlesinger, accounting, accompanied senior accounting major Shannon Mostert to the Academic Recognition Night, sponsored by the central New York chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, in Syracuse in October. Students from Ithaca College, Le Moyne College, SUNY at Oswego, and Syracuse University were honored for their superior academic achievement and potential in the field of accounting.
