Campus Master Plan Open SessionsMembers of the Ithaca College community are invited to attend any of five scheduled presentations on the latest campus master plan alternatives. The sessions will be held in Emerson Suite B on Tuesday, December 4, at noon, 3:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 5, at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The sessions will be led by representatives from Sasaki Associates, a Boston-based consulting firm that has been helping the College fashion a facilities master plan, which includes proposals for new academic, administrative, and residential facilities as well as a field house. The latest alternatives were developed based on feedback from a September round of presentations as well as meetings with the Facilities Planning Committee and the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend a session and to ask questions and offer additional feedback. The board is expected to adopt the final plan at either its February or May 2002 meeting. |
