A concert
paying homage to two Latin American composers of guitar music
will highlight the fifth Ithaca College Winter Guitar Festival.

A historian
of the American south, Peter Bardaglio will assume his new duties
in Ithaca this summer.

Ithaca College
Theatre will present The World Goes ’Round, a lively musical
revue encompassing songs from such award-winning Kander and Ebb
musicals as Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman,
and New York, New York.

Close to
130 panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display in
the Emerson Suites from February 24 to 28. Each three-by-six-foot
panel was sewn and decorated by friends and loved ones in commemoration
of a person whose life was lost to AIDS..

The Ithaca
College Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra will honor the life
and music of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Karel Husa with a
performance in New York City.

Pablo Zieglers
Quintet for New Tango will be the second offering in the yearlong
Ithaca College Concerts series "Rhythms of the Dance,"
its critically acclaimed blend of modern jazz and tango.

In order
to modernize its financial and human resource functions, the College
will soon begin implementing Project Parnassus, an advanced and
innovative information system. After the final March payroll,
the College will be conducting all its financial and human resource
business on the new system.

Riki Wilchins,
executive director of the Gender Public Advocacy Coalition, will
give a talk, "Ending Gender Stereotypes: A New Path to Full
Equality," on Monday, March 4.
