Table of Contents
Scholars
from across the country will gather at the College on Thursday,
November 14, to present papers exploring the disparities in public
health and health services between racial groups in the United
States.

The head of
the nation's largest noncommercial broadcasting service will share
her insights and expertise with Ithaca College students and faculty
during a three-day stay on campus as part of the Park Distinguished
Visitors Series in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Tom
Torello, who has served since 1998 as director of marketing at
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, was chosen following a national
search.

Author
and gay activist Christian de la Huerta will speak on "Coming
Out Spiritually: The Next Step" on Wednesday, November 20.

Ithaca College
has organized One World Celebration and International Education
Week, a series of events in November centered around programs
that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future
leaders from abroad to study in the United States.

The
exhibit, which features the sculptures, drawings, and paintings
of Karen Kucharksi, Nancy Neaher Maas, and Terry H. L. Slade,
will run through December 15.

All Ithaca
College faculty and staff are invited to attend the third annual
Ithaca College Benefits Fair sponsored by the Office of Human
Resources.

Ron Blackwell,
director of corporate affairs and collective bargaining for the
AFL-CIO, will visit Ithaca College on Thursday, November 21, to
talk on "No More Business As Usual: A Union Perspective on Corporate
Accountability."

Blake Gumprecht,
assistant professor of geography at the University of South
Carolina, is writing a book about the American college town, a
chapter of which will focus on Ithaca.
