TCAT Adds Ithaca College Stop to Danby Bus Route

In response to customer requests, Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) has added a stop in front of Textor Hall to TCAT route 65, which runs from Danby into Ithaca and back by way of Route 96B. Previously, Ithaca College riders using that route had to get on and off the bus right on 96B.

Riders traveling from Danby should be aware that the first two inbound trips to Ithaca on weekday mornings now leave the Hillside View Trailer Park three minutes earlier in order to accommodate the new stop without changing downtown arrival times. Those buses now depart from Hillside at 7:02 and 7:57.

Those wishing to get to the Commons from campus may now use TCAT route 65 in addition to route 11, which goes to downtown Ithaca by way of Hudson Street.
