Joycelyn Elders on Campus

Former U.S. surgeon general Dr. Joycelyn Elders visited the campus during Black History Month in February. In addition to giving a public lecture on "Health Care Disparities in the Minority Community," Elders met with students and faculty in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Her visit was sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
