Report from Homecoming 2007
Thank you to everyone who attended Homecoming weekend! We hope you had a great time.
Friday night we honored the newest inductees to the Athletic Hall of Fame with a reception and dinner in the Emerson Suites. Guests were even treated to a musical performance by Ithacappella! The 2007 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are: Robert W. Christina ’62, Daniel P. Feldman ’90, Karen Fischer ’93, M.S. ’94, Amanda Mabee Hope ’97, Donald C. McVeigh ’83, Mary T. Obidinski ’97, Edward Pesaresi, professor emeritus, and James N. Wilson ’63, M.S. ’72. 2006 inductee Jeffrey A. Geller ’94 was also honored.
The rain held off long enough on Saturday for the Bombers to take a 35-0 victory over the Norwich Cadets. The Alumni Association gave away pompoms and key chains to everyone, and the lucky winners of the prize drawing walked away with a snowboard, a mountain bike, a gift certificate to the IC Bookstore, and a tote bag full of IC goodies!
The youngest Bomber fans had a great time on the “Tiger Tummy” moon bounce, and decorating mini pumpkins with members of Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow. Saturday night, students were treated to three hilarious performances by alumni comedians Michael Capozzola ’92, Giulia Rozzi ’00 and Margot Leitman ’00. The three have performed on MTV, Comedy Central, and many other well-known comedy venues. It was great to have them back on campus!
