Ithaca wins back the Cortaca Jug

Ithaca Bombers footballThis year, the “biggest little game in the nation” was decided by 23 points as Ithaca beat SUNY-Cortland 40-17 and brought the Cortaca Jug back to Ithaca for the first time since 2004.

It was the Bombers' fourth straight game scoring 40 points or more. Both the offense and the defense played impressively; the offense gained 534 yards total and the defense held Cortland to 281 yards. The offensive attack was led by junior quarterback Dan Juvan, who had by far his best game this season, connecting on 12 of 16 for 306 yards and two touchdowns.

NYWA Annual Star Breakfast honors alumna

On December 4 Joyce DeLucca '86 was honored at the New York Women's Agenda (NYWA) Annual Star Breakfast, one of the most anticipated events of the year. At the breakfast outstanding women who represent the spirit of New York, provide leadership in business and in the community, and are role models for other women are honored.

NYWA also honors men who support women and the issues that affect them with Honorable "MEN-tions."

Joyce DeLucca, 42, is the founder and managing principal of Kingsland Capital, a structured finance firm based in midtown Manhattan.
