Linden Gift Endows Center for Creativity and Aging

A gift provided by Jay '72 and Judith '73 Linden has established the Linden Center for Creativity and Aging in IC's Gerontology Institute. The center will research, explore, and encourage ways that creativity and the creative arts can enhance the quality of life for older adults. The center will also help students become acquainted with new career opportunities to serve this expanding segment of the population.

Project Puts Spotlight on Ithaca
An article on the website of the Chronicle of Higher
Education reports on the progress of the new School of Business
and Gateway buildings, and wonders if Ithaca will be the first college
to claim two platinum LEED buildings on campus. The writer toured the
construction projects with former provost Peter Bardaglio, now with the
sustainability advocacy organization Second Nature.

Featured Alumni Benefit
The next time you're planning a trip, be sure to check out our travel website, www.ithacacollegetravel.net. And there's a terrific bonus: when you book travel on the IC site, the College gets a percentage of the commissions paid by the travel companies.
You get access to the same airlines, hotels, rental car companies, and vacation packages found on other major travel websites -- at very competitive prices. The IC site even uses the same technology as tried-and-true favorites, hotels.com and priceline.com.
