A Note from the Director of Alumni Relations

Greetings from South Hill! Homecoming has always been a special weekend at Ithaca College and this year was no exception. These days, however, it has become more than taking in the fall foliage and joining devoted football fans cheering on the team in Butterfield Stadium. On Homecoming Weekend Ithaca celebrates students and alumni of color with its annual Professionals Symposium, recent graduates return to dedicate their class gift, and alumni from all classes return to campus to participate in networking activities, classroom visits, and special events. There’s no better way to spend a fall weekend than by returning home to Ithaca College! Check out photos from this year’s weekend events and plan to visit next year! As always, we wish you the very best from Ithaca College. Enjoy this issue of yourIthaca.

Jodi Gross (1987)
Jodi Gross, class of 87 and Todd Holding are happy to announce their marriage on July 5, 2003. The wedding took place on a southern plantation in Acworth, Georgia. The couple currently reside in Woodstock, Georgia.

Bradley Buell (1989)
Bradley Buell (1989, School of Business) writes, "I still live in Ithaca. The more I travel the better I like it when I come home! Still working for Bill Cooke Imports and am a landlord to, yes, IC students, kinda ironic! I also coach the IC Men's Ice Hockey Team, so if anyone else wants info or is a former player, let me know. Would also like to hear from other '89 grad's."

Susan (Molnar) Gruber (1993)
Susan (Molnar) Gruber (1993, School of H & S) and George Gruber (1992, School of Business) are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy, Silas Alain. He was born on April 27, 2003 in Charlotte, NC, and weighed 8 lbs.

Todd Cross (2002)
After one year with the Memphis RiverKings of the Central Hockey League, I was offered and accepted a sales position with the Syracuse Crunch, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL.

We’re looking to update our record of those alumni who have served in our country’s armed forces.

Ithaca College is celebrating Veteran's Day with an event featuring alumni and guest speakers. It will be held Tuesday, November 11th at noon in Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall. In order to properly recognize alumni who have served this country, we need your help.

In an e-mail to veteranscommittee@ithaca.edu, please send us the following:
On the subject line PLEASE put: military alumni

In the body of the e-mail include:
Your name: (Last, First)
Your year of graduation from IC (or years of attendance)
