Ithaca College Thanks Its New England Supporters

On Wednesday, April 16, 2008, approximately 150 New England–area alumni, parents, and friends gathered at Fenway Park to celebrate the success of the Campaign for Ithaca College: Making a World of Difference. After an opening cocktail reception, New England Regional Campaign Committee co-chair Dennis Vaccaro, parent ’04, welcomed guests and reported that Boston-area donors contributed approximately $1.4 million to the campaign. Shelley Semmler, Ithaca’s vice president for institutional advancement, thanked the New England Regional Campaign Committee volunteers for all their hard work and highlighted the accomplishments of Peggy R. Williams during her 11 years of service as Ithaca College president. President Williams concluded the program with a multimedia presentation demonstrating the positive impact the campaign will have on our students.
