The Faculty/Staff Campaign Committee includes a cross-section of all employee constituencies on South Hill. Our mission is to encourage, inform, and celebrate our collective support of the Campaign for Ithaca College.

On October 4 the Faculty/Staff Campaign Committee organized an event to rally support for the group’s special campaign project and to express appreciation to the College for making IC a great place to work. The Faculty/Staff Endowed Scholarship will be the gift of College employees in support of the Campaign for Ithaca College.

At the recent faculty/staff campaign event, Christine Davie ’04, a long-time employee in Information Technology Services, shared the many additional opportunities that have come her way thanks to working at Ithaca College. The highlights include receiving a JJ Staff Scholar Award, earning an Ithaca College degree, and watching three of her children also complete IC degrees. Read her remarks, “This is a Great Place to Work!”

In addition to raising important funds, a further goal of Ithaca’s largest-ever comprehensive campaign is to awaken a culture of philanthropy at the College. All of us who make our livelihoods here have a stake in keeping the College strong. Campaign Fast Fact: Last year the number of Ithaca employees who made contributions to the College was 25 percent.
