Women's Cross-Country

Led by a rookie coach and a first-year performer, Ithaca turned in some solid performances during the 1995 campaign. Coach Kelli Bert took over the Bomber program in August and led the blue and gold to an 8th-place finish at the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association championship, a 5th at the Eastern College Athletic Conference meet, and a 12th at the NCAA regional qualifier in November.

Freshman Meaghan Brady paced the blue and gold harriers in five outings. She came in 23rd at the NYSWCAA meet and posted her best time of the season at the Cortland Invitational (19:19). Brady was also 19th at ECACs and 34th at regionals.

At the tail end of the year junior Melanie Della Rocco turned her performance up a notch. She was the first Bomber to hit the tape at the ECAC meet and the NCAA regionals, finishing 9th and 32nd overall, respectively.
