
Men's Tennis (11-2)The team record for wins and three individual marks fell by the wayside during the spring season. The 11 triumphs bettered by one the previous school standard. The Bombers opened the slate with six straight victories. After splitting the next four encounters, the club finished strong with three straight decisions. Freshman Matt Schultz was a perfect 16-0 in singles play, establishing a single-season record for singles triumphs. He was 10-1 in doubles play for an overall mark of 26-1, another Ithaca standard (season overall wins). Senior Dave Gleason and freshman Andy Orowitz each posted 11-2 doubles records to tie the single-season Bomber standard. Freshman Jean-Jamil Rojer rose to the number-one singles and doubles spot for Coach Tim Faulkner. He finished his rookie campaign with an 11-3 record in singles and a 9-1 doubles ledger. |

Women's Tennis (1-1)Ithaca split its two dual matches and participated in the William Smith Invitational during a limited spring campaign. Freshman Julianna Barbieri was 7-3 over all, and sophomore Maegan Umen was 6-3 during the spring. Each player was 4-1 in singles play. Freshman Kim Faulkner and Barbieri (3-2) posted the top doubles marks. |
