IC Students in Costa Rica

Ten students traveled to Costa Rica during the winter break with biology professor Susan Allen-Gil for a two-week class about that country's ecosystem. They studied the effects of rampant development and tourism and helped with reforestation efforts of the Tropical Forest Initiative, planting trees and conducting research. The Costa Rica program is one of a growing number of short-term study abroad programs at the College.
