Great Year for IC Teams

Sixteen Bomber teams reached the NCAA playoffs, and Ithaca's second-place finish in the Sears Cup standings was the highest ever.

Defensive stalwarts like sophomore Gavin Stackhouse (39), senior Andy LaForce (72), and junior Dan Puckhaber (75) helped the Bombers reach the national quarterfinals. Ithaca was making its first NCAA football playoff appearance since 1994. Football

Senior Tommy Hall became the seventh Ithaca wrestler to win an individual national title, helping the Bombers to a sixth-place finish at the NCAA championships.  end
