Alumna Elected to Board

Judith Samilow Linden '73 (photo) was elected in February to a four-year term on the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. She has extensive experience in managing nonprofit organizations and is currently executive director of Midori and Friends, founded by the internationally renowned violinist Midori to provide music education, workshops, and concerts to children in New York City who would not otherwise have the opportunity for involvement in the arts.

As a student at Ithaca, Linden studied English, was a member of the Oracle Society, and served as a student adviser. She developed the College's first alumni career network program as an independent study project. She and her husband, Jay Linden, a 1972 television-radio graduate, have remained actively involved with the College as alumni.
