Following a New York premiere and a yearlong run off-Broadway (see ICQ, 1998/1), Shakespeare's R&J (photo), the award-winning play by Joe Calarco '92, is making its British premiere at the Theatre Royal Bath as a part of the Bath Shakespeare Festival. Following the festival the play is scheduled to be performed in Coventry and London. A sizable group of alumni are working on the play: Seth Goldstein '99 is the producer, Christopher Lee '90 is the lighting designer, Michael Fagin '90 is the set designer, and Aaron Epstein '99 is taking photographs of the rehearsals and other preparations. When the production moves to London, Joe has invited theater students at the IC London Center to attend and to participate as assistants and interns.
